Pleasanton San Ramon Golf Club Wedding Photography | Wendy & Jeff

I've been very fortunate to be able to help Chung from Chung Li Photography with a few of his weddings last year.  It all started with Wendy and Jeff's wedding in Pleasanton.  They did the traditional Chinese games before the groom was allowed into the bride's house along with the tea ceremony.  The games are always so much fun to watch, and you can tell from the bride's expression that she also enjoyed them.

After the wedding ceremony we headed to downtown Pleasanton for some wedding party shots before going to the reception at the San Ramon Golf Club.  The location had a beautiful lawn area for portraits.

Family 3x3 Mini Accordion Album

I recently created another mini accordion album for a client as a thank-you gift using images from the family session I took at Gamble Garden in Palo Alto

Mini accordion albums are a great way to show family and friends a couple of your favorite images from your family, engagement, or wedding session.  They're so small that you can easily keep them in your purse or at your office.  The albums have a magnetic enclosure that makes it simple for opening and closing.

Milpitas City Hall Portrait Photography | Emily's Session

I'm always grateful when clients contact me again for portraits.  Back in November I did a family session for Emily and her family in Palo Alto.  Emily wanted to get some updated portraits to use for her business and other projects so we met up on a beautiful Sunday in Milpitas.  City halls can be nice places for portraits because of their beautiful architecture, and the Milpitas City Hall is no exception.  I loved the modern look of the place with its large windows, stairs, and colors.

Sunnyvale Baby Portraits | Baby Jordan

I'm always looking forward to seeing my nephew Jordan because he's a lot of fun to play with.  Back in January when we did his 4-month session we tried to get him to be on his stomach a bit more, but that didn't last too long.   He'll somehow just roll over.

Right now, he's at the age where he's learning to sit up by himself, and whenever we try to have him sit upright, he'll start to tip over to one side.  It's so funny to watch his expressions too, which I was able to capture some when I did his 3-month session.  I love it when he laughs or smiles because it's so contagious!  As we are in between his next portrait session, I'll still take some photos of him when I can.

San Francisco Park Family Photography | Varadarajan-Agarwal Family

A few weeks ago I headed out to a park in the Bernal Heights area of San Francisco for a family shoot to celebrate their little girl's 1st birthday.  She was so sweet and adorable, especially when she blew kisses, laughed, and danced as the other members of her family sang and danced along with her.

Sunnyvale Baby 4-Month Photography | Baby Jordan

When we did baby Jordan's previous session we focused more on him sitting up so for his part 2 session, we wanted to get a few of him on his tummy.  I don't think he likes being on his tummy for too long because after about 5 minutes he started to get a little fussy.  His outfit was so adorable.  I love the plaid shirt with long sleeves.

Sunnyvale Baby 3-Month Photography | Baby Jordan

My first post for 2013 will be a session I did for my nephew last week.  It has been about 2 months since we did baby Jordan's newborn session, and I'm amazed as to how quickly babies change.  Jordan can now sit up a little when there's something against him, and he's at the stage where he enjoys sucking on his fingers.  Since he doesn't quite know how to suck his thumb, he'll just stick all his fingers in his mouth.  What I enjoyed the most from the session was watching all his cute expressions.
