Diablo Country Club Wedding Photography | Song and Johnny

It's been a busy couple of weeks, but here is the beginning of Song and Johnny's wedding at the Diablo Country Club.  There are so many pictures to share that I decided to divide them up into different parts.  I have to thank the couple and CK Hwang of 39 East Photography for letting me capture all the details and joyous moments that day.  CK's work is truly amazing, and what I find even more incredible is his ability to create such memorable pictures using film.

When I arrived at the location, Song's wonderful team were hanging up the latterns outside where the ceremony will be held and putting the final touches on the chairs. 

Back inside, everyone was busy getting ready.   I love the bears that were incorporated throughout their wedding.

While Song was getting her hair and makeup done she was diligently reviewing her notes, and even while her bridesmaids were helping her with her dress she was still at it.

Song's dress was gorgeous with all the sequins and beading, and she truly looked like a princess that day.

The girls were gorgeous with their purple dresses and bouquets.

And the guys were very handsome.

Alina approached me back in the summer inquiring about a session with her best friends.  All three of them have been buddies for many years and wanted to get some shots of them having a good time.  They certainly had a lot of good laughs as we walked through different parts of the Rosewood Hotel.  When we arrived I automatically fell in love with the place for its wooden furniture, vast lounge areas, and beautiful greenery.  The interior is equally as stunning with its chandeliers and contemporary look.

Watsonville Pajaro Dunes Beach Engagement Photography | Denah and Dominic (Part II)

On Saturday we did round two of Denah and Dominic's engagement pictures.  They had an engagement party that day, and beach at Pajaro Dunes in Watsonville was the perfect location for some outdoor photos.  Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate.  We were hoping to get some nice golden sunset shots, but when we arrived at 6:00 the sky was filled with grey clouds.  It was really weird because it was sunny in Capitola when we passed by it.  Nonetheless, we still had a lot of fun with the couple.

Newark Engagement Photography | Denah and Dominic (Part I)

Usually, I'll hear about couples meeting in high school or college, but this couple met in elementary school.  Amazing!  They wanted to highlight places that have meaning to them so we spent some time at Dominic's parents' home by their lovely pool, at a park next to the elementary school they attended, a small white church, and TILT at Newpark Mall. 

We'll have another session in two weeks by the beach so I'm really excited about getting some more fun and lovely shots!

Napa Brix Wedding Photography | Stephanie and James

Last weekend was definitely a busy weekend with Saturday being a day to make the flowers and Sunday being the actual wedding day.  Brix had a lovely vineyard backdrop and garden area that served as the ceremony location.  Despite the craziness in the morning, the couple looked fantastic.  Thanks Stephanie and James!
