Vacation in Taiwan

A few weeks ago we spent some time in Taiwan and Hong Kong and were able to visit many places that were different from our last trip two years ago.  One of the places was Maokong in the Wenshan District of Tapei, Taiwan.  Many teahouses lined the streets as it's a popular place for drinking tea and enjoying the scenery of Tapei City.  If you're at the right angle you can see Tapei 101.

On another day we took a ferry and visited the Tamshui Fisherman's Wharf in the Tamsui District of New Tapei City, Taiwan.  The area is known for its fresh seafood and beautiful sunset and is a popular spot among couples.  There's a bridge called the Lover Bridge and an observation deck called the Lover's Tower that allows you to get a full 360-degree view of the entire area.

San Francisco Golden Gate Park Japanese Tea Garden Engagement Photography | JulieAnne and Darius

Everyone was out enjoying the beautiful weather when we were in San Francisco this past weekend for the couple's engagement session.  JulieAnne really wanted pictures with the tulips at the Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden so it was nice to see the flowers in full bloom.  Afterwards, we headed over to the Japanese Tea Garden.  It was such a lovely place that I could stay there for hours.  Thank you JulieAnne and Darius for a fun session.  I'm looking forward to shooting your wedding in November!

B Street & Vine San Mateo Baby Shower Photography

Before leaving for my trip to Taiwan and Hong Kong a few weeks ago, I attended a baby shower for my cousin at B Street and Vine in downtown San Mateo.  She and her husband are expecting their first child so it's definitely an exciting time for them.  I love how my other cousins, the hosts and mother-to-be's sisters, incorporated the monkey theme and purple colors into the entire shower.
