Pet Photography | Charlie | Summer 2010

One thing I'll miss the most about this summer is not being able to spend time with my sister's dog, Charlie, during the weekdays.  We'll play with his ball on a rope and go out for walks.  He'll even take me on a chasing spree after him every now and then.  Eventually, he gets tired and will take a nap until my sister gets home from work.

  1. You have a talented flair for photography and I can see how you were inspired after the workshops on portraiture and exposure . . . I like the black and white and sepia photography. The viewer focuses on different details than in the color medium.

What can I say about Charlie? Was he focusing on a toy or snack when he was looking at the camera with so much concentration? I have tried to take photographs of my cats and, if they are not sleeping . . . hmmm!

I am glad you find such pleasure in a profession that can also provide you monetary compensation. Good luck!

  2. Jenifer, Your talent for photography is obvious. I really liked the way you justaposed the elegant model next to the run down building. I think that texture and contrast certainly made those photographs visually striking. I really admire your eye and your talent.

  3. Charlie is cute! The flower photo is one of my favorites also. I like the way you captured the light within the shadows.
